Can't Login

Hello,

After a successful installation and registration, I am unable to log in. My Login box appears and I insert my ID and password. Unfortunately, "Save Goober -ID and Password" and "Automatic Login" are gray and can't be clicked. Also, the "Login" button is also gray and can't be clicked.

I also noticed a link for "Connection Settings", which says "Proxy Type, Host, and Port". These areas are blank and I have no idea of what to enter, if anything. At the bottom of that box are two buttons which are in another language, so I don't know which to click on.

Any help would be sincerely appreciated.

Did you download the latest version? Sounds like maybe you have an older version where some of the menus had a mix of English and German. If I were you, I'd uninstall the Goober you have now, then reinstall. You can get the latest version of Goober here: http://goober.com/ I think when you install, it will ask what language you want. Choose English.

In my Connection screen (under Settings), it was already filled in when I installed Goober. For Proxy type it says HTTP. For Host/Port, it says 3128. At the bottom of the screen I see two buttons: on the left is Cancel; on the right is Save.

if you don't know what a proxy is you just forget about this option - this is normally used for companys or special configurations. If Veronicas answer doesn't fix your problem, i need to know - to go more into the details.

Maybe you tell me where you downloded from.

same problem

I downloaded and installed what I'm thinking is the latest version. However when I started it up everything is greyed out and not letting me click anything. It says Login Timeout underneath the register for free button. Please help!
